Overview
Abbey Mills is part of the Thames Tideway London super sewer project, a 25km tunnel under the River Thames, designed to protect the river from sewage pollution. Works on this project consisted of forming the benching to the 24m wide ATU shaft. Custom formwork was created to form the mass fill benching to the bottom of the shaft, all to a strict programme deadline.
