Overview
The Kingsnorth Substation is part of the Transmission Capacity Reinforcement in the East (TKRE) project, which involved upgrading existing overhead lines and a new cable tunnel to improve electricity transmission. Works consisted of forming large bases to house the primary substation infrastructure.
